Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a finance partner to the Amazon Prime business team, managing financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling.
- Evaluate price-leading and price-matching promotions executed by the business team.
- Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and collaborate with business managers on finance and cost management.
- Drive cost efficiency and optimize spending in collaboration with business managers.
- Manage financial planning and analysis, utilizing key business input levers.
- Develop and present ad hoc business analyses and recommendations to senior management for strategic decisions and future initiatives.
- Establish and maintain operating and business metrics.
- Facilitate business reviews with data analysis and follow up on actionable items to improve business metrics over time.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of finance experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
- 2+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- Proficiency in standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA.
- Experience using data to influence business decisions.
- Experience in corporate finance, including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Cleared IPCC in the first attempt.
- 9-18 months of Articleship period left.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
- Experience with TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL.
