Job Summary:
Axtria, a global provider of cloud software and data analytics for the life sciences industry, is seeking innovative data scientists to join their Data Science Practice. This role involves developing specialized capabilities, crafting proposals, operationalizing scalable processes, and enhancing data science capabilities through training, mentoring, and research.
Responsibilities:
- Craft proposals to grow the Data Science Practice.
- Develop scalable processes for large and complex client engagements.
- Ensure profitable delivery and an exceptional customer experience.
- Build and nurture high-performing delivery teams.
- Train and mentor staff, establish best practices, and promote continuous learning.
- Write white papers, collaborate with academia, and establish thought leadership.
- Research, develop, evaluate, and optimize algorithms and technologies for pharmaceutical commercial & clinical applications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in data science with expertise in building data pipelines, scalable models, ML operations, and automation.
- Ability to apply analytics techniques (regression, classification, and NLP) to business questions.
- Proficiency in data management, modeling, quality, devops, and data structure integration.
- Expertise in AI/ML algorithms, NLP, and deep learning frameworks (Python, R-Studio, PySpark, etc.).
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/AAzure), AWS tools (S3, EMR, Redshift), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of neural network architectures (CNN, RNN, LSTMs, and transformers) and API design.
- Familiarity with self-service analytics platforms (Dataiku, KNIME, Alteryx) and MS Excel.
- Experience in the life sciences is advantageous.
