Role Overview:
As a Collections Specialist, you’ll oversee the collection of over $40 million in annual revenue. This role involves managing invoice collections, handling escalations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely payments.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up with customers on open and overdue invoices.
- Handle case escalations and complex invoices.
- Coordinate with universities, student organizations, and companies on invoice payments.
- Track and report on overall collections metrics.
- Apply payments received via check, Venmo, and card to invoices.
- Process discounts and refunds as needed.
- Take ownership of projects that add value and improve processes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Collections, or Accounts Receivable.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Customer-centric with strong problem-solving skills.
