Job Purpose:
To support business development and knitting yarn sales for worsted yarn export markets in USA, Europe, and Asian countries. Provide functional support to Sales & Marketing, maintain existing customer accounts, and contribute to business growth strategies.
Job Description:
- Conduct demand analysis and market mapping for target countries.
- Develop new agents and traders for target markets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Development, Production, Commercial) for business development and production.
- Manage sales forecasting, planning, and production follow-up to achieve targets.
- Maintain customer relationships by updating them on orders, developments, and sampling progress.
Job Context & Major Challenges:
- Increase VAP knitting yarn business competitiveness in India’s market.
- Understand customer behavior and competition dynamics.
- Gain insights into manufacturing processes and technical aspects to enhance customer service.
Key Result Areas:
- Customer Support:
- Manage customer orders, development, and sampling updates.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback via SAP system.
- Ensure timely order processing and delivery status updates.
- Functional Assistance:
- Conduct market research to identify new customers.
- Assist in sales and marketing activities like exhibitions and trade shows.
- Prepare weekly MIS reports on pending orders and developments.
- Sales Support:
- Monitor internal credit limits and apply through SAP.
- Issue sales contracts and proforma invoices.
- Coordinate dispatch plans with sales and marketing managers.
