Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Shift Supervisor assists the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts, deploys partners, and delegates tasks to ensure the Starbucks Experience for customers. This role upholds TATA Starbucks guiding principles and maintains high standards.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Assist with executing store operations, including organizing opening and closing duties.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods to keep the store operating to standard.
- Team Leadership:
- Train new partners, provide coaching, and give feedback to improve performance.
- Recognize changes in partner morale and performance and communicate them to the store manager.
- Develop positive relationships with the shift team, addressing individual needs and concerns.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver legendary customer service with a ‘customer comes first’ attitude.
- Discover and respond to customer needs, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols.
