About the Role:
As an Assistant Manager in Cost Operations, you will build and manage cost operations, focusing on creating scalable, cost-effective processes and improving the supply chain. You will work closely with Business and Data teams, manage vendor payments, and drive process improvements to ensure a reliable supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- SOP Design: Develop cost-effective and scalable SOPs aligned with business strategy.
- Vendor Payments: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to improve vendor payment processes and automate them for efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Identify and address gaps in existing processes to continuously improve them.
- Cost Reduction: Partner with various teams to reduce business costs through data analysis and process improvements.
- Experience Enhancement: Focus on improving the experience for marketplace participants including entrepreneurs, suppliers, and customers.
- Program Adherence: Ensure compliance with operational programs and address edge cases to optimize outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience: 2-4 years in start-ups, consumer internet companies, management consulting, or operations.
- Skills: Strong data-driven mindset, analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel, and expertise in stakeholder management.
- Initiative: Proven ability to drive initiatives with minimal supervision and form business insights.
