Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and architect the migration of data analytics environments to Snowflake with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Assess and understand ETL jobs, workflows, BI tools, and reports for migration to Snowflake on AWS and Azure.
- Design an end-to-end data analytics architecture for Snowflake on AWS.
- Enhance existing data pipelines in the cloud for data transformation and aggregation.
- Address technical inquiries regarding customization, integration, and enterprise architecture in Snowflake.
- Setup, configure, and deploy Snowflake environments.
- Guide teams in configuring environments across multiple departments and groups.
- Lead data analytics teams in implementing standard methodologies.
- Collaborate with business users to align architecture with business needs.
- Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets for improved efficiency.
- Produce documentation to aid understanding of existing architecture solutions.
- Provide technical leadership in strategy, scalability, performance, and high-level design.
- Use standard development methods throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years specifically with Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience in migration projects and handling large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with ETL, data warehouse analytics, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
