Job Description

The role of a junior or senior analyst involves transforming raw data into actionable insights to facilitate business decision-making. Responsibilities include:

• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
• Cleaning and preparing data, addressing coding errors, and corrupting data.
• Developing and maintaining databases and data systems.
• Analyzing data to assess quality and derive meaningful insights.
• Applying statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends.
• Assigning numerical value to business functions for performance evaluation.
• Analyzing local, national, and global trends impacting the organization and industry.
• Preparing reports and presentations for management, highlighting trends and predictions.
• Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and management to identify process improvements and propose system modifications.
• Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) projects to uncover patterns and insights.

Essential Skills Required

Candidates for the junior or senior analyst role should possess a blend of technical, analytical, and soft skills, including:

1. Data Cleaning and Preparation: Ability to clean and prepare data for analysis, identify outliers, and transform data formats.
2. Data Analysis and Exploration: Proficiency in analyzing data to uncover insights and using statistical methods to test hypotheses and predict trends.
