What You Will Achieve
As part of Pfizer’s quality assurance and control team, you will:
- Analyze chemical, biological, or microbiological products.
- Support quality programs through analytical testing.
- Manage sample accuracy and establish requirements for methodology transfer from R&D.
- Contribute to achieving project tasks and goals in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, storage, and handling of Quality Control Samples.
- Update and file training records reflecting current testing capabilities.
- Perform sampling and labeling of materials as per defined procedures and verify equipment/instruments.
- Interpret data for accuracy, precision, trends, and potential cGMP impact, recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct documentation and quality records according to GMP and GLP requirements.
- Review and revise SOPs, analytical methods, and related documents to keep them current.
- Analyze finished products, raw materials, packing materials, and components, and manage data entry and reporting in a computerized database.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Theoretical knowledge of lab instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, KF, Potentiometer, pH meters).
- Ability to read and understand compendial methods, SOPs, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Knowledge of GMP standards, processes, and policies.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistics.
- Ability to manage time to meet targets and develop plans for work activities.
