Job Description:
As an Intermediate Representative in Client Processing at BNY Mellon, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships by providing efficient and professional support within the CORPORATE TRUST team.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile 8-10 CDO deals per day and perform account reconciliation for assigned deals.
- Ensure minimal breaks and resolve ageing breaks promptly.
- Investigate and resolve breaks to complete daily reconciliations.
- Liaise with clients and onshore client service teams to resolve queries.
- Handle day-to-day tasks with minimal guidance from a supervisor.
- Work in a deadline-driven environment and manage pressure and changes effectively.
- Perform daily activities as per predefined procedures.
- Address inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders professionally and promptly.
- Build strong relationships with internal LAS teams through effective communication.
- Manage multiple tasks and time efficiently.
- Be flexible with US-facing working hours.
Client Relationship Support:
- Maintain client relationships and a working knowledge of accounts and documents.
- Address internal and external inquiries promptly.
- Escalate issues and concerns as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Advanced/graduate degree preferred).
- 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in financial services.
Skills:
- Effective communication and multitasking abilities.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
