Job Purpose:
The role bearer is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the activities of the collections department. This includes managing associated agencies in the assigned territory, ensuring efficiency in retrieving EMI from customers, and adhering to bank guidelines to meet organizational objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and undertake the collections process for assigned debts.
- Track the portfolio for specific buckets, focusing on non-starters and delinquency control.
- Allocate and achieve targets with agencies and in-house teams.
- Regularly follow up with default customers.
- Ensure adherence to collection processes and legal guidelines.
- Trace absconded default customers and initiate recovery processes.
- Recommend legal actions for non-recoverable cases and liaise with the legal team.
- Maintain data for administrative tasks, update delinquent account history, and provide MIS reports.
- Review collection feedback daily, weekly, and monthly.
Education Qualification:
- Graduation: Any Graduate
- Post-graduation: MBA, PGDM
Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in collections.
