About the Role:
- As a Splunk Engineer in the Regulatory & Risk Tech Area, you’ll help deliver solutions for the Market Surveillance team and other streams.
- The role involves innovation, collaboration, and delivering in a fast-paced environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide innovative solutions and challenge the status quo while understanding the bank’s regulatory requirements.
- Build trusted and productive relationships across the organization.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and propose solutions for automation and simplification.
- Communicate effectively across a range of audiences.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with attention to detail and self-management.
- Learn all aspects of compliance and operational risk.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in UI development with strong knowledge of Splunk UI, SPL, Splunk Configuration, Integration, Setup, and Upgrade.
- Strong development experience in Python 3.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with Windows server environment and knowledge of LINUX and shell scripting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Understanding of Financial Markets domain and data such as Orders, Trades, Market data.
- Knowledge of Regulatory & Compliance and trade surveillance functions is an advantage.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Bamboo, git, etc., and AWS cloud computing is nice to have.
- Experience with CI/CD/test automation toolkits is a plus.
