Overview:
The Business Analytics Analyst is a developing professional role that involves monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. The analyst identifies policy gaps, interprets data, and makes recommendations. The role requires integrating disciplinary knowledge with an understanding of related industry practices and has a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of tasks/services provided.
Responsibilities:
- Gather operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
- Identify data patterns and trends, providing insights to enhance business decision-making capabilities in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment, etc.
- Recommend actions for future developments and strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies.
- Involve in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis, and/or qualitative analysis.
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies and communicate findings clearly to business partners and senior leaders.
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
- Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking, and improving decision strategies.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Citi’s policies.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work with cross-functional partners and team members.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
