Role Summary: Intern – Heavy
As an Intern – Heavy, you will report to assigned accounts/sites and actively engage with site supervisors and customers to discuss daily management activities and water treatment parameters. You will be involved in hands-on activities that contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and line walks to monitor operations and processes.
- Meet with site supervisors to discuss daily management activities and safety compliance.
- Engage with customers to address daily management challenges, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Review water treatment parameters and ensure adherence to Ecolab’s 6 Service Standards.
- Perform water sampling and analysis in Ecolab’s internal lab.
- Adhere to the schedule of monthly water treatment KPIs, including corrosion rate and microbiological testing, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports detailing water treatment performance and recommendations for improvements.
- Identify opportunities for value addition, water and energy savings, and upselling services.
- Collaborate with lab chemists to collect water analysis details from various accounts.
- Participate in group discussions, troubleshooting sessions, and team-building activities.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
