Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy customer-facing SaaS environments using automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Support and manage incident management processes, including Sev1/Sev2 escalations.
- Drive troubleshooting activities related to incidents/problems within SaaS infrastructure and applications.
- Deploy, build, maintain, and provide support for development servers and Java-based application implementation.
- Provide L1/L2 troubleshooting and support for Windows and Linux server management and applications.
- Enhance system and application monitoring, notification, and response across hosted environments.
- Support enterprise clients and internal associates with technical and operational aspects of Edifecs’ SaaS solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customer contacts for troubleshooting/incident response activities.
- Continuously improve troubleshooting skills, product expertise, and related technical knowledge, and train others.
- Apply appropriate IT Security controls when working with sensitive data and monitor adherence to these controls.
- Develop and deploy checks and balances for proactive management of hosted applications.
- Document workflows and standard operating procedures, and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Basic knowledge of public cloud services and operations (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies/products and effective troubleshooting.
- Team player with the ability to provide technical assistance.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, and bash scripting.
- Knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
- Understanding of Java-based applications and web applications.
- Basic networking knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to write complex scripts to automate workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to set and achieve goals.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Adaptability to a 24×7 work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
