About the Role
This internship position is with the Consul team at HashiCorp, focusing on both open source and enterprise versions of infrastructure management tools. You will primarily work with Go programming language, ensuring stability, reliability, performance, and security of HashiCorp’s products.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to code reviews and support for HashiCorp employees, community members, and partners.
- Advocate for improvements to product APIs and core functionalities.
- Design and implement features for managing large-scale global fleets of resources.
- Own the lifecycle of feature development from design through testing and release.
- Program in Golang and collaborate with a team dedicated to enhancing their skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent in India.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or C++.
- Fundamental knowledge in security, distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, or schedulers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a practical understanding of real-world products.
