Hero MotoCorp is looking for a software test engineer to lead software validation for control units in electric vehicles (EVs) and internal combustion engines (ICEs). The role involves managing testing requirements across multiple control units and vehicle platforms, driving continuous improvements in the testing approach, and identifying new tools and technologies to enhance the validation team.

Responsibilities for the Hero MotoCorp Recruitment Drive:

• Lead software validation for control units in EVs and ICEs.
• Manage testing requirements for multiple control units across various vehicle platforms.
• Remove roadblocks and barriers to ensure high-quality software and excellent customer experiences.
• Drive continuous improvements in the testing approach, including automation, speed, depth, and breadth of testing coverage.
• Identify new tools and technologies to develop a world-class validation team.
• Debug, solve problems and implement corrective measures.
• Prepare and record testing data.

Qualifications and Experience For the Hero MotoCorp Recruitment Drive :

• BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive, or equivalent.
• Advanced qualifications are an advantage.

Technical Skills/Knowledge For Hero MotoCorp Recruitment Drive:

• Embedded software development life cycle.
• Experiential knowledge of scripting, Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL), etc.
• Knowledge of CAN simulation/dbc files from CAN matrix.
• Experience using Vector CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe), ETAS-INCA, etc.
• Understanding of automotive standards & functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262, MISRA).
• Knowledge of end-to-end encryption and IoT client APIs (HTTP, RESTful APIs).
• Experience working in ASPICE process capability maturity model and V-model development process.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, Modbus, SPI, LIN, and K-LINE.
• Ability to work through root cause analysis (RCA).
• Familiarity with Agile and V-model methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple projects under time constraints.
