Hyatt Hiring Electrician

Hyatt Raipur is seeking an Electrician to join their Engineering/Facility Maintenance team in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This role involves providing courteous and professional customer service, performing operational tasks related to maintenance and safety systems, and ensuring high standards of work quality and safety compliance.

Customer Service:

• Provide courteous and professional service to guests and employees at all times.
• Handle guest and employee inquiries efficiently, reporting and following up on complaints or problems.
• Maintain positive interactions and good working relationships with guests and colleagues.

Operational:

• Collaborate closely with other team members to support the overall success and guest satisfaction of the hotel.
• Complete all maintenance tasks according to schedule, ensuring high-quality work with particular attention to guest-related jobs.
• Operate machinery and equipment to provide utilities required for operations.
• Verify, store, and utilize fuel deliveries according to policies and procedures.
• Comply with local regulations and codes to avoid hazards.
• Handle and maintain all power tools properly.
• Submit requests for parts and consumables to the Team Leader – Engineering.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and protect surroundings during duties.
• Implement energy conservation measures effectively in operational areas.
• Ensure operational readiness of fire, life, and safety systems.
• Perform emergency procedures related to fire, life, and safety (e.g., attending to fire alarms, lift rescue).
• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Report any abnormal conditions related to safety equipment or installations to the Team Leader – Engineering.
• Assist other Technicians as requested by Superiors.

Technical Skills:

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctions in systems and components, rectifying defects.
• Read and understand control circuits to troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment.
• Connect cables to circuit breakers, transformers, and other high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) equipment.
• Identify hazardous areas requiring reporting to management.
• Use and maintain a variety of power tools and testing equipment.
• Perform physical tasks such as digging trenches, lifting heavy objects, working with ladders, scaffolding, and heights up to 25 meters to maintain, install, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Other Duties:

• Attend and contribute to all required training sessions and meetings.
• Represent the hotel team and Hyatt International positively and responsibly.
• Maintain professional relationships with representatives from competitor hotels, business partners, and other organizations.
• Adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations, including policies and procedures related to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
• Adapt to changes in the Engineering function as required by the industry, company, and hotel.
• Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
