Job Purpose:
The role involves planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing departmental activities, managing associated agencies, optimizing EMI retrieval, and ensuring adherence to bank guidelines to achieve organizational objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute collections processes for assigned debts.
- Track portfolio performance for specific buckets within the assigned area.
- Monitor and control delinquency rates Bucket-wise and DPD-wise (Days Past Due), focusing on non-starters.
- Allocate and achieve targets from agencies and in-house teams.
- Regularly follow up with defaulting customers.
- Ensure strict adherence to collection processes and legal guidelines.
- Trace absconding defaulting customers and initiate recovery processes.
- Recommend legal actions for irrecoverable cases and coordinate with the legal team for case closure.
- Maintain administrative data related to collections, including updating delinquent account histories, providing and managing MIS reports (Management Information System), and reviewing collection feedback on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
