Job Description:
Jennifer Behr is seeking a highly motivated intern to gain hands-on experience in production and product development for their luxury accessory collection. This role will involve working directly with the production team to understand the complete lifecycle of accessory creation, from concept through to shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Management: Organize, catalog, and source materials; maintain sample inventory and design material inventory; manage seasonal swatch cards.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate with garment district vendors and manufacturers; prepare technical specs and notes.
- Production Tracking: Assist in managing the production tracker; support the QC process.
- Studio Assistance: Provide day-to-day studio assistance as needed; travel to the garment district for production shipments.
Requirements:
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; adept knowledge of Adobe Suite.
- Experience: Prior design/production experience is a plus.
- Traits: High attention to detail; self-starter; willingness to travel to the garment district.
