Job Description:
- Main Purpose: To gain hands-on experience in UX/UI design by assisting in the creation of user interfaces and experiences for digital products.
- Duration: 3 months
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexible)
- Reporting To: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CTO, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements.
- Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to demonstrate design concepts and gather feedback.
- Implement responsive and accessible UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Ensure consistency and maintainability of UI codebase through effective documentation and adherence to coding standards.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and improve user experience.
- Optimize UI performance for speed and scalability, considering factors such as browser compatibility and device capabilities.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in UX/UI design and front-end development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, development, and business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a UX / GUI Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.
- Proficiency in crafting wireframes/mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of design systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Basic understanding and familiarity with development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
