Role Overview:
As an ASIC Engineer, Architecture (University Grad) at Meta, you will design accelerators for critical workloads in data centers, focusing on video transcode and machine learning SoCs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate architecture, ensuring successful deployment of ASICs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement advanced algorithms and architectures for video transcode and AI/ML SoCs.
- Analyze and map data center workloads to ASIC architecture.
- Develop performance and functional models to validate architecture.
- Collaborate with ASIC design, verification, silicon bring-up, firmware, and software development teams.
- Create architecture documentation and collateral for design and integration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Coursework in Computer Architecture (microprocessor architecture, memory systems, on-chip interconnection networks).
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or other Object Oriented Programming Languages.
- Eligibility to obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing or completed a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- Experience or knowledge in video/image/signal processing and standards.
- Familiarity with machine learning architectures and frameworks.
