Job Summary:
As a Data and Analytics Support Engineer at Norstella, you will play a pivotal role in supporting internal clients by managing incident, problem, and service requests through platforms like ServiceNow, email, or Teams chat. You will engage with teams to deliver and process data, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate the resolution of data-related challenges. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and maintaining analytical data assets, administering analytical applications like Power BI and Tableau, and supporting end-users with data-related queries and demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support through incident, problem, and service request management.
- Accelerate priority issues based on business requirements.
- Interact with teams to deliver and process data, addressing inquiries and issues.
- Triaging new issues and providing detailed information for development teams.
- Log issues, document findings, and assign tasks for development as needed.
- Perform automated data quality checks and report issues.
- Manage and maintain analytical data assets in data warehouses and databases.
- Monitor and administer analytical applications such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Support end-users with data-related questions, perform demos, and provide education as required.
- Assist Data Hub & Spoke teams in company-wide projects.
Key Requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with SQL databases, Python programming, and AWS cloud deployment.
- Knowledge of Snowflake SQL, Tableau, Power BI systems is essential.
- Experience with data management lifecycles, including collection, cataloging, and ETL design.
- Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines.
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude, capable of multitasking.
- Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Comfortable working in a 24×7 support model.
