Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support: Assist customers with questions and issues related to Rocket Software products.
- Troubleshooting: Verify problems by assessing customer environments, error messages, and symptoms.
- Problem Resolution: Use testing tools and knowledge bases to research and resolve issues.
- Solution Implementation: Guide customers through implementing solutions and write detailed case tracking information.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other Technical Support Engineers and contribute to internal projects.
- Self-Learning: Expand expertise on Rocket Software products and contribute to training content.
- Availability: Some after-hours, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technology field or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Mainframe knowledge (z/OS).
- Experience with JCL, including modifying/ submitting jobs and interpreting JCL output.
- 1+ year of experience working with z/OS TSO and ISPF.
- Skills:
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and organizational abilities.
- Adaptability to change and effective time management.
- Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret.
- Familiarity with CVSS and code scanning tools.
