Job Summary For Spatial Data Specialist I – Contractual Position at Gigaplex Airoli :
Spatial Data Specialist I is an entry-level geographer (developmental role) who performs analysis of varied source inputs such as video files, Lidar drives, satellite imagery, shape files, etc. They interpret varied and complex situations and apply logical decision-making for digitization/updates of maps in the database. The role involves using defined quality assurance processes/tools to ensure accuracy. It will be a contractual job initially for 6 months and then extendable.
Candidate Eligibility Criteria For Spatial Data Specialist I – Contractual Position at Gigaplex Airoli:
- Currently, we are looking for passed students with No Live ATKTs.
- Any Graduate (Bachelors) with 50% & above in 10th, 12th, Graduation.
- Any Bachelors degree can apply. However, Bachelors in Computer Science/IT (only bachelors) preferred.
- Candidates with more than a year gap in academics are not eligible.
- Passed out: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 passed candidates (All the certificates need to be collected).
Responsibilities of Spatial Data Specialist For Spatial Data Specialist I – Contractual Position at Gigaplex Airoli:
- Perform pre-processing of source inputs through refinement and merging to convert them into a usable format.
- Analyze and interpret situations within source inputs and compare them with the existing database.
- Digitize mapping database using required platform/tools as per defined processes.
- Perform quality checks on data input to test validity of data with the assistance of experienced Operators.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions and share best practices/lessons learnt.
