Walk-in Interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur: Senior Resident, Specialist, Super Specialist
On July 7, 2024, applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur. The interview is scheduled for July 7, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. onwards. Candidates are required to return to Room 207, 2nd floor, at 9:00 AM for document verification.

Age Limit For Walk-in Interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur: Senior Resident, Specialist, Super Specialist:
- For Senior Resident (Three years/One Year): Maximum 45 years (Reservation as per Govt. of India).
- For Specialist/Super Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on the date of the interview.
Educational Qualification For Walk-in Interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur: Senior Resident, Specialist, Super Specialist:
- For 03 Years Senior Resident: PG/DNB/Diploma in the concerned Specialty from a recognized university, registered with MCI or State Medical Council. For NICU, PG/DNB/Diploma in Pediatrics is required.
- For 01 year Senior Resident: PG/DNB/Diploma or MBBS with 02 years experience in the concerned department. For ICU, PG/DNB/Diploma in Medicine/Anaesthesia Department is required. Preference is given to PG/DNB/Diploma qualified candidates.
- For 03 year Specialist: PG/DNB/Diploma in the requisite Specialty and 3/5 years of work experience in a responsible position connected with the Specialty.
- For 03 year Super Specialist (Full Time/Part Time): 5 years experience after obtaining the Post Graduation Degree in the concerned specialty. For holders of D.M./M.Ch. qualification of 05 years duration, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M./M.Ch. shall be counted towards the requirement of 5 years experience.
Emolument For Walk-in Interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur: Senior Resident, Specialist, Super Specialist:
- For 03 years Senior Resident: As per 7th CPC Level 11.
- For 01 year Senior Resident: Rs. 1,00,307/- (Fixed) per month.
- For 03 year Specialist: Rs. 1,21,408/- (Fixed) per month.
- For 03 year Super Specialist: Rs. 2,00,000/- (Fixed) per month.
- For 03 year Super Specialist Part Time (Entry level):
- Basic Salary: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month.
- Additional Remuneration:
- Rs. 20,000 for visiting charge in case of emergency call.
- Additional Rs. 21,200 for every additional hour beyond 16 Hrs/week.
Instructions to Candidates For Walk-in Interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur: Senior Resident, Specialist, Super Specialist:
- Minimum 50% marks in the interview are compulsory for selection.
- Candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC & other categories should provide valid (Central Govt.) caste certificates issued by the competent authority. OBC certificates should be in the prescribed form per Government of India instructions, certifying that the candidates do not belong to any of the creamy layers.
- Interested candidates may appear for a walk-in interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan, along with:
- Application in the prescribed Performa.
- All original documents (10th certificate, MBBS certificate and MCI/State registration, PG certificate and MCI/State registration).
- Experience certificate (if applicable).
- Disability certificate (if applicable, disability is 40% or above).
- Caste certificate (if applicable).
- Aadhar card/Voter ID, PAN card.
- One set of Xerox copies of all original documents.
- Two recent passport size photographs (one affixed on the application).
- Original documents for verification must be brought at 9:00 AM sharp on the date of the interview. Registration for the interview will be up to 11:00 AM.
- The engagement of Senior Residents will be purely contractual for a one-year tenure, extendable up to a maximum of 03 years subject to the requirement and satisfactory work performance report by the HOD.
- The engagement of Specialists will be purely contractual for a one-year tenure, extendable up to a maximum of 03 years subject to the requirement and satisfactory work performance report.
- The number of posts may increase or decrease as per requirement with the approval of the Medical Superintendent.
- Private practice of any kind will not be allowed.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the “Walk-in-interview”.
- Vacancies indicated may change as per actual requirement on the date of the interview.
- Convincing in any form will be a disqualification.
- Appointment shall be governed by the ESIC Headquarters letter No. U13/14/38/2020/Med-I9ESIC/SC, dated 02.02.2021.
- Selected candidates will be required to sign a contract agreement on a stamp of Rs. 500/- at the time of joining. The original contract will be with the hospital, and a copy will be with the candidate. The cost of the stamp paper will be borne by the candidate.
- The contractual engagement may be terminated/discontinued on either side giving one month prior notice to this effect without assigning any reason.
- Upon engagement, the candidate will have to deposit security money of Rs. 25,000/- through Demand Draft in favor of ‘ESIC Fund Account No.1’ payable at Jaipur at the time of joining, which is refundable after completion of the engagement period and on production of a “No Dues Certificate”. The amount will be forfeited if left before completion of the period.
Professional Indemnity Policy For Walk-in Interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur: Senior Resident, Specialist, Super Specialist:
- Selected specialists must have a professional indemnity policy covering the desired period as specified by ESIC. This policy is intended to cover professional liability arising from errors and omissions committed while rendering professional services.
- The minimum sum assured for indemnity per annum should be:
- Rs. 30 lakh for Anaesthesiologists, Neurologists, and Nephrologists.
- Rs. 10 lakh for all other specialists.
- A copy of the Insurance & Premium Receipt must be submitted within 07 days of the date of engagement.
Leave Entitlement For Walk-in Interview at ESIC Model Hospital, Jaipur: Senior Resident, Specialist, Super Specialist:
- Senior Resident (03 Year): As per Central Government Rules adopted by ESIC. No encashment of accumulated leave.
- Senior Resident (01 Year): Entitled to leave at the rate of 2.5 days for each month of work on a pro-rata basis in a calendar year. No encashment of accumulated leave.
- Specialist: Entitled to leave at the rate of 04 days for each month of work on a pro-rata basis in a calendar year. No encashment of accumulated leave.
- Super Specialist: Entitled to leave at the rate of 04 days for each month of work on a pro-rata basis in a calendar year. No encashment of accumulated leave.
