Job Purpose:
The role involves direct customer interaction and is responsible for acquiring current accounts, explaining and selling banking products, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Acquire new-to-bank (NTB) current account customers in the identified segment and generate references from the specified catchment area.
- Ensure high-quality acquisition of current accounts in terms of product mix, segments, and constitution mix.
- Proactively register and activate acquired customers on direct banking channels.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisitions by analyzing customer transaction banking needs.
- Assist the Sales Manager in catchment mapping and scoping exercises.
- Provide regular feedback to Sales Manager / Relationship Manager on opportunities and customer needs.
- Ensure adherence to selling norms and SOPs defined by the organization.
- Strictly comply with internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Source quality leads in accordance with the bank’s policies.
- Maintain a high degree of market awareness and understanding of customer needs.
- Collaborate with other branch departments and functions to offer products and services that meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Graduate: Any discipline
- Part Time / Full Time: Full Time
- Experience: 0-4 years in BFSI industry, preferably in sales
- Functional Area: Sales
- Level / Capacity: Junior Management
