About IIM Jammu:
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) brand is synonymous with innovation, talent, and a zeal for success in management. Established by the Government of India in Jammu and Kashmir in 2016, IIM Jammu has been a beacon of high standards in quality education, research, executive education, consultancy, and strong corporate as well as international linkages. IIM Jammu’s off-campus in Srinagar was inaugurated on January 24, 2020.
IIM Jammu operates from the Old University Campus, Canal Road, Jammu. The proposed state-of-the-art campus, spanning 200 acres, is under development at Jagati, located 14 km from Jammu City, 16 km from Jammu Railway Station, and 18 km from Jammu Airport. This campus will blend modern architecture with the rich culture and heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
Aim & Duration:
The internship aims to provide practical experience to students under the supervision of IIM Jammu faculty members. The duration of the internship can be up to 6 months.
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral Candidates.
Responsibilities:
Interns will engage in various tasks, such as:
- Working on live projects
- Conducting case studies
- Completing research assignments related to contemporary topics
- Collaborating with faculty members for guidance and supervision
Upon successful completion, interns will receive a certificate of internship completion.
Required Documents:

- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
