Job Summary:
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the LSRB-DRDO project titled “Design, Development, and Testing of Transcranial Focused Ultrasonic Stimulation (tFUS) Device” in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase of equipment and inventories for the project.
- Development of prototypes and experimental setups.
- Testing of the developed device.
Requirements:
- Essential Qualification:
- B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical, or Materials with 1st class from a recognized university or institute and a valid GATE score.
- OR
- M.E./M.Tech. in Control, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechatronics, Engineering Design, or a related specialization with a 1st class from a recognized university or institute.
- Desirable:
- Research experience in the design and development of transducers, RF amplifiers, advanced measurement units, and COMSOL/ANSYS simulation.
Benefits:
- Monthly emoluments of Rs. 37,000 + 18% HRA for the first 2 years.
- Monthly emoluments of Rs. 42,000 + 18% HRA for the 3rd year.
- Duration: One year; extendable based on performance up to 3 years or till the project duration, whichever is earlier.
- Eligible candidates may register for the PhD program as per NITT rules and regulations.
