RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop security controls to ensure compliance and adherence to benchmarks across cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Create intelligent automations to streamline and eliminate repetitive tasks within the day-to-day operations of the Security Teams.
- Lead initiatives focusing on Outbound Email Security to enhance data protection measures.
- Configure and maintain the Web Application Firewall to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Provide engineering insights and collaborate on system integration efforts during Security Tools Proof of Concept (PoC) activities.
- Support the Vulnerability management team with a focus on Application Security Configurations and Coverage.
- Build automation tools to maintain the inventory of applications and associated cloud resources, ensuring efficient management and monitoring.
- Identify deficiencies in existing security solutions and implement fine-tuning measures to enhance their effectiveness.
- Install, configure, integrate, and implement technologies to enhance auditing, prevention, detection, and response capabilities.
- Conduct technical research and root cause analysis when necessary, implementing action items to contribute to the enterprise security strategy.
- Maximize the existing investment in security architecture and tools by identifying deficiencies in the current setup and implementing fine-tuning and operationalization measures.
- Design and implement standards, policies, and procedures for automations, integrations, and other Security Operations (SecOps) activities to ensure robust security measures are in place.
