Job Purpose for an Intern Cyber Security Engineer at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics:
The Product Security Liaison is the cybersecurity product expert providing real-time support for all customer requests for cybersecurity information.
Responsibilities for Intern Cyber Security Engineers at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics:
- Complete and sustain Product Security Questionnaires (PSQ).
- Build interdepartmental relationships for PSQ completion.
- Engage with customers and sales teams to address cybersecurity questions and review agreements.
- Lead DoD-ATO technical activities.
- Drive product change processes for security patches.
- Support investigations related to product security complaints.
- Communicate with development teams to develop product expertise.
- Manage and sustain existing cybersecurity documents.
- Handle software license management, tool administration, and integration.
- Implement software defense (hardening), intrusion prevention, patch management, malware identification services, certificate management, and vulnerability disclosure support.
- Manage PSIRT and periodic testing.
- Evaluate and assist product teams with penetration testing tools like Checkmarx, Nessus, Appspider, and Burp, CA.
- Stay updated with the latest testing and ethical hacking methods.
- Report the findings and suggest security improvements.
- Enhance existing methodology and automation processes with scripting knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills for an Intern Cyber Security Engineer at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics:
