Job Description:
- Conduct timely inspection & testing of incoming Raw Materials, Packing Materials, Intermediates & Finished Goods.
- Calibrate & conduct preventive maintenance of reference/master samples & testing instruments.
- Analyze complaints from the market promptly and provide timely responses.
- Conduct audits as per defined schedules and guidelines.
- Close gaps identified during audits within agreed timelines.
- Adhere to APQS (QMS, SMS & EMS) standards.
- Raise design change requests and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure timely inwarding of vehicles without plant controllable detention, updating SAP accordingly.
- Coordinate with Safety, Plant Engineering, and Security for resolution of inwarding issues.
- Allocate work activities to permanent workmen in Raw Material Stores as per norms.
- Resolve daily inwarding issues related to Central Purchase.
- Issue materials to production in a timely manner.
- Review and correct receiving records with invoices.
- Execute cycle counts as scheduled.
- Review and record timely tanker unloading permits.
- Organize and maintain efficient material storage and handling in Raw Material Stores.
- Conduct quarterly physical stocktaking with permanent workmen.
- Prepare and maintain a repository of Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
